Welcome to the Kinsley Public Library's
Historical Downtown Kinsley Map.

1. Move the mouse cursor along the colored year slider-bar. Click to select a year.

2. A diagram of the 4-block downtown Kinsley business district will appear. As the mouse cursor is moved over the shaded business locations on the map, the business that occupied that location during the chosen year will be displayed in the box.

3. Click on a shaded business location and a new page will appear showing available information and photographs related to that location.

4. Use the back button on the browser to return to the map.

The Historical Downtown Kinsley Digital Map is the result of a community collaboration to build the application and to compile the data. It is an ongoing research project. Every effort has been made to make it as accurate as possible. However, like all historical research, this map may have unknown data or contain errors or omissions. You are encouraged to send suspected errors and additional information or pictures of a particular building or business to the Kinsley Library for verification and addition to the map. E-mail suggestions to director@kinsleylibrary.info.

Additional business areas are planned for this site in the future. Contact the Kinsley Library if you would like to contribute to information, images or research.
